HW Chen is a managing partner whose investment activities focus on broadband, software, telecommunications, and healthcare. Prior to founding Monet Capital, Dr. Chen was on the original founding team of Paradigm Technology Inc., where he helped to develop the Paradigm proprietary process and build the Paradigm lab. He also developed .8-.5 um CMOS technology for high speed SRAM product. Paradigm Technology went public in 1995. In 1997, Dr. Chen became one of the funding partners of GSI Technology and was VP of technology. He helped increase GSI Technology's revenue from $0.2 million per year to over $42 million per year within 3 years. Dr. Chen has 7 patents in IC processing and over 20 publications in the field of Chemistry.
Currently Dr. Chen serves on the board of directors for GSI Technology, Vweb, Wavesat, and U-Healthy Network. He is also on the advisory board at e21 Corp.

Robert Cheng is a managing partner with investment activities in telecommunications, OEM, and broadband. Prior to founding Monet Capital, Mr. Cheng founded Inventec. Inventec Corporation is a three billion dollar company that employs over ten thousand people worldwide. Under Mr. Cheng's guidance and leadership, Inventec established long term relationships with companies such as Compaq, Texas Instruments, and Apple. Inventec helps Compaq in laptop and server products from design, part purchasing, manufacturing, and drop-shipping. Inventec also helps in the manufacture of calculators for Texas Instruments and PDA units for Apple.
